The perfect
pendant to win the heart of any Celt, this striking sterling heart features a pair of thistle blossoms, their arching stems and leaves forming a stylized heart. Legend holds that the thistle became the symbol of the Scots when a horde of Vikings attempted to sneak ashore at night, but stumbled into a patch of thistle. Their subsequent cries of pain alerted the brave Scots and exposed the intended ambush. This lovely pendant is beautifully designed with a three dimensional pattern as lovely front and back. It measures just under 3/4" x 1", not including the bail with its 3.5mm opening in the measurements.
