This eye catching
sterling silver pendant features a reproduction of an ancient design of the Viking God of Thunder, Thor's Hammer. The snake like detailing reflects the intertwined knotwork patterns commonly found in older Celtic and Norse designs. This hammer was called Mjollnir and caused the lightening which rent the Norse skies. As such it was a symbol of the power of a warrior king. This piece is marked 925 for 925/1000 pure sterling and measures just under 7/8" x 1 1/4", including the integral 4mm bail in the measurements.
