Much of the
most romantic Victorian jewelry were in the popular lavalier or lavaliere style, with a long line to flatter the neck and a hinged drop for whimsy. These lovely earrings are in that romantic Edwardian style. The central 4 mm spring green peridot gem is surrounded by delicate sterling filigree openwork. Above and beneath is is accented by hinged prong set sparkling gold citrines and sable brown smoky topazes - a 5mm round and a 5 x 7mm pear or tear drop. These charming lace stud or post earrings measure just over 1/2" x 1 3/8" each.
