the dramatic blooms of the lotus, this stunning pendant interprets this revered blossom in modern openwork lines. The lotus is an important symbol in Buddhist and Eastern art and religion--the bloom rises from muddy waters to bloom held high above the surface, reflecting the human progress from baser earthly cares to ultimate enlightenment. At the heart of this piece glows a mystical blue-flashed irridescent rainbow moonstone gem measuring 7 x 9mm (about 1.81 carats by size). The sterling workmanship is of nice weight for size and has a custom arching 6mm integral bail. This artisan pendant measures just over 3/4" x 1".
