These fantastic
earrings feature a pair of translucent deep blue-green apatites in an infrequently seen marquise cut. These unusual gems are rarely faceted as the gems are quite difficult to cut this way, but it really shows off the natural varigations and sparkling inclusions characteristic of this striking gem. Each stone measures 6 x 12 mm (about 2.25 carats each by size, 4.5 TCW) and they are set in a beautiful sterling silver setting accented by delicate rows of ropework. They measure just under 3/8" x 1 1/8" overall and are marked 925 for 925/1000 pure sterling.
