Many of the
most romantic Victorian necklaces and pendants were in the popular lavalier or lavaliere style, with a long line to flatter the neck and a hinged drop for whimsy. This lovely pendant is in that romantic Edwardian style. The central 4.5mm gold citrine gem is surrounded by delicate sterling filigree openwork. Above and beneath is is accented by hinged prong set sparkling regal hued fire red garnet and sapphire blue iolite - a 5mm round and a 5 x 8mm pear or tear drop. This charming lace pendant measures just over 1/2" x 1 3/8", not including the bail with its 3.5mm opening in the measurements.
