useful items beautiful, Victorian craftsmen had a wide variety of chatelaine tools available for seamstresses of the day. One of the less frequently found tools was the thread winder. Here, this lovely star shaped winder is ornamented with ornate repousse scroll and floral detailing. This striking piece measures 1 3/4" x 2", not inluding the 5.5mm ring or bail in the measurements. This is a difficult to find accessory for a chatelaine or watch pin and could also be worn on a chain as a pendant as well.
