It is not suprising
that many gemstone cuts take their name from the royalty who have been traditionally the very few who have been able to enjoy their splendor. Marquise cuts are considered one of the finest and most rare among jewelers as they require much more raw gemstone to create the shape. Here, a mystical, eye - shaped marquise of varigated, sky-blue turquoise is perfectly paired a creamy, moon - blessed pearl. These are bezel set in a dramatic sterling setting which follows the lines of the gems.
