Lapis is felt by many to enhance wisdom, focusing the mind and clearing out unnecessary distractions in a way that relaxes the wearer. Here, a deep, oceanic blue flashed with natural white crytalline lapis lazuli cabochon is perfectly framed in the cool shimmer of sterling silver. The wonderful 13 x 17 mm bezel set stone is accented on the sides and border with delicate hand applied granulation or beadwork. It hinges open and snaps securely closed with a security clasp. The box is perfectly sized for a few small pills or other tiny treasures. This great piece measures 3/4" x 1", not including the bail with its 5mm opening in the measurements and it is marked 925 for 925/1000 pure sterling.
