A richly bejewelled
wonder, this fabulous sterling silver butterfly chatelaine pin spreads detailed wings accented with a rainbow of carefully hand applied enamelling or cloissone in the popular Art Nouveau style. It's body is accented with sparkling blue topaz gems in oval and pear cuts as well as darkly glittering genuine faceted marcasite accents. There are three chains to hold thimble or needle cases, pencils or other essentials of day to day life for the Victorian lady. This wonderful piece is marked 925 for 925/1000 pure sterling and measures just over 2" x 2" not including the chains, which are 1 3/8" - 3 3/8" long.
