Infrequently
seen, bodkins were used by Victorian ladies to ornament the lovely openwork of their linens and clothes with interlaced ribbons of various sizes and were frequently found on their chatelaine. This truely lovely one is ornamented with deeply raised victorian repousse scrolls. It measures 5/8" x 2 3/4" and is beautiful enough to be worn as a dramatic as well as functional item or pendant.
