A remarkable
display of nature's treasures, this stunning artisan pendant features some of the most beautiful rainbow moonstones that I have ever seen, accented by complementary gems of firey garnet and luminescent white pearls. Artisans in Northern India, the birthplace of most of the world's gems, begin each pendant by selecting the finest irridescent rainbow moonstones they can find. Instead of forcing the gemstone into a particular shape (such as a tear or oval cabachon), the artisans match the shape and setting the organic nature and irridescence of the gem. Each moonstone measures an absolute minimum of 17 x 26 mm (at least 35 carats and most are much larger). The picture shows the range of wonderful pendants offered, but please note that this is for a single pendant only and no requests for specific ones, please. Each one is unique, with gems bezel set in deep setting of sterling silver with a hand wrought rope border about the central gem. Although most are significantly larger, each pendant measures at least 1" x 2", not including the generous bail with its 7.5mm opening in the measurements and each is marked 925 for 925/1000 pure sterling.
