A remarkable
display of nature's treasures, this stunning artisan pendant features remarkable gems of amethyst and blue topaz. Artisans in Northern India, the birthplace of most of the world's gems, begin each pendant by looking at the natural shape of the amethyst stone. Instead of forcing the gemstone into a particular shape (such as a tear, emerald cut or cabachon), the artisans match the setting and facets to the organic shape of the stone. Each blue topaz oval measures at least 7.5 x 10 mm (about 2.15 carats by size) and is set atop the striking amethyst freeform gem - each measuring at least 3.5 carats in size. The picture shows the range of wonderful pendants offered, but please note that this is for a single pendant only and no requests for specific ones, please. Each one is unique, with gems bezel set in deep setting of sterling silver. Each pendant measures at least 1/2" x 1 3/8", not including the generous bail with its 7mm opening in the measurements and each is marked 925 for 925/1000 pure sterling.
