this stunning genuine Baltic amber round is carefully selected for its unusual organic green hue and striking internal inclusions characteristic of this ancient gem. Although most people are only aware of the golden, cognac hue in which amber is usually found, it also naturally occurs in several other striking shades, including this warm, varigated green. You can really appreciate the stone's drama in this oversized, 24mm round - over an inch in diameter and well over 65 carats by size. It is dramatically framed in sterling in a bezel setting haloed by rows of rope and beadwork in the Bali style. This striking pendant measures just over 1 1/4" x 1 1/2", not including the heavy bail with its 7mm opening in the measurements.
