An interplay
of red and gold hues, this pendant makes me think of the colorful falling leaves of autumn. Four marquise cut 4 x 8 mm garnets (about 1.75 carats each by size, 7 TCW) form the points of a circumscribed star, while four 3 mm faceted citrines (about 0.18 carats each by size, 0.72 TCW) accent the points of the centerpiece, a 7 mm square red carnelian cabachon (about 3.2 carats by size). The setting is a beautifully polished circle, and this great piece measures 1 1/8 x 1 5/8" overall, including the 4-mm bail.
