Beautifully crafted using this colorful art form, perfected through the ages, this stunning brass and hand crafted enamel cloissone frame will be perfect for your favorite picture or photo. The cloisonne enamelling is hand applied in vivid shades of spring green, white, and gold with the brass base metal gleaming through in the accents. Cloisonne comes from the French 'cloisons' or partitions for the metal strips which border the vivid enamelwork. The colors are the perfect complement to the image of a rainbow of golden bumblebees in flight amidst a garden of blooms and honeycomb detailed leaves. It measures just over 4 3/8" x 4 3/8" with an opening for a 2 1/2" x 2 3/4" picture.
