An intriguing
blend of modern and retro, this fabulous lavalier or "Y" style necklace is studded with a starry night of gems, all bezel set in shimmering sterling. The twilight hues of iolite sparkle when accented by golden citrines and the luminescence of moonstone. The drop is accented by a lovely rainbow moonstone cabochon of great irridescenece which is contrasted by the matched golden faceted citrine pairs above. Between these are a lovely quartet of deep bluish violet iolite brilliants. All of the pear cut stones measure a generous 6 x 9 mm each (about 1.28 carats each for the faceted stones, and 1.40 for the cabochon by size, 3.96 TCW). Each of the smaller rounds is 5 mm each (about 0.5 carats each by size, 2.0 TCW). The central lavaliere or drop measures 3/8" x 1 1/2" and the body of the necklace (not including the drop) is 17" long. It is a new piece and marked 925 for 925/1000 pure sterling.
