A remarkably
affordable extravagence, this stunning medallion pendant surrounds its nine precious genuine sapphires in the lovely shimmer of gold. It is set in vermeil - a rich golden hue obtained by covering solid sterling silver in a layer of genuine 24 K gold. The unusual design is highlighted by a 4mm deep blue sapphire round at its center, ringed by eight 3 mm complementary brilliants (about 1.35 TCW by size). The pendant is of very nice weight and measures 3/4" x 1", not including the generous bail with its 6.5 mm opening in the measurements.
