This wonderful
Art Nouveau styled sterling bird pin features a loop at it's base from which you can hang your favorite charm. These types of pins were often used to hold an old-fashioned locket or watch. They were also occasionally used as small chatelaines to hold other necessities of life for Victorian ladies - small pin holders, pillboxes, mirrors and other little accessories. This wonderful piece measures just under 7/8" x 2 1/8" and is marked 925 for 925/1000 pure sterling.
