This eye catching lead free pewter pendant is the representation of Aku'Aba, the Ashanti Earth Mother and fertility Goddess. In addition to being worn by those who hope to be blessed with children, whe was also felt to embody the feminine posers of compassion, nurturing and strength. She hangs from a black cord and measures 5/8" x 1 1/2". This piece is made in the U.S and it comes on a presentation card which tells a bit more about the pattern and it's history.
