The Wiccan pentacle was a way of representing the Cosmos--each of the 5 points stood for the four elements of Earth, Water, Fire and Air with the fifth point representing the Spirit or Consciousness. This is one of the oldest symbols of Western beliefs. This interpretation of it has a superimposed mother or goddess figure holding a child at the fifth point. This wonderful sterling pendand has a hidden bail, is marked 925 for 925/1000 pure sterling and measures 7/8" in diameter.
