This beautiful sterling food pusher is the perfect present for that special young child. Pushers are used by small children who aren't quite ready for a knife to push pieces of food onto their fork. This attractive one has an Art-Nouveau border of intertwined leaves and vines which is a reproduction of the popular pattern by Alvin, Fleur de Lis. As enduring as the beauty of the iris is fleeting, the fleur de lis has long represented the power of the House of Bourbon and Rennaissance French royalty. More recently it has come to represent the strength and loyalty of the people of New Orleans in the face of adversity. It is marked sterling and is 4" long.
