This beautiful
sterling needle case or holder is decorated with a raised pattern front and back of sinuous scrolls forming a small cartouche on each side which could be engraved if you like. The unusual hinged lid has the form of a detailed little crown. There is a jump ring attached so this item could be worn on a chain or chatelaine. Although these are meant for needles, I love to give them with a special message on a scroll inside. This piece measures a generous 3/4" x 3 1/2" and is marked sterling and 925.
