This very unusual
sterling needle case is just fantastic! The borders are ornamented with an ornate respousse design of paisley like scrolls, surrounding a central area which would be perfect to engrave if you like. The top hinges open to hold a selection of needles or other small treasures. There is a jump ring at the top so this could be worn on a chain or chatelaine. It measures 3/4" x 2 1/8" and is marked sterling.
