This beautiful
sterling needle case or holder is decorated with a raised all-over pattern of scrollwork. Interestingly, it is slightly tapered along it's length-- most of these were made in a straight, non-tapered deign. There is a jump ring attached, allowing you to wear it on a chain or chatelaine. Although these are meant for needles, I love to give them with a special message on a scroll inside. This piece measures 1/2" x 3" and is marked sterling.
