One of the most
ancient amulets or symbols of many religions, the Hamsa of Judeaic faith or Hand of Fatima from the Islamic belief is one of the original protective signs. In all faiths, it is felt to protect the wearer against the Evil Eye and other negative thoughts. This beautiful rendition is accented by striking sterling silver granulation and wire work and a large 10 mm cabochon of naturally varigated golden amber (about 8.5 carats by size). The tip of each finger glows with a royal purple amethyst. This piece measures 3/4" x 7/8" overall with a 4.5mm bail and is marked 925 for 925/1000 pure sterling.
