About Rebecca (by Matthew)
Meet the Lovely and Talented Rebecca - the genius behind TreasuredFinds.com. (Sorry fellas- she's taken!) Rebecca started TreasuredFinds.com way back in 1998, in her "spare time". I put that in quotes because she was already working a full time job. Rebecca basically has unlimited energy and enthusiasm- which is great for our customers because she gets so much done, but bad for me, because she can be quite bothersome at 5:00 am when she wants me to wake up and start working! These days she runs the "art department" (i.e. the not-so-messy side of the office) where she designs the jewelry, and photographs and describes the products. She is my soulmate! We have been together since November 11, 1993 - the day we met!

About Matthew (by Rebecca)
This handsome guy is Matthew, the diabolical computer genius behind our website. Matthew wanted to be an international jewel thief when he grew up and has, like many, compromised a bit. He's the get-it-done guy of the team, doing most of the packing, phone and email customer support. He's also the one who gets to pull out hair over the gritty details - my limits on tech troubleshooting are to shut down and restart and pray. If you call, you can count on his dry humor as well as speedy answers to any questions.

About our employees
Actually, we don't have any employees... we do everything ourselves. I guess this little troublemaker is the closest we have: Salvadore, aka Vice-President of Typos and Sleep Technology. Yes, he is a dwarf cat and has little midgety legs. He is also the best cat ever and gets more petting than just about any other cat in the world.

How long will it take to ship my order?
We are very proud of our fast shipping. Orders placed before 3 pm Pacific Time ship same day, orders placed after 3 pm ship the next day. On Saturday the cutoff for same day shipping is 10 am (not our choice- we are in a small town and the mail truck leaves early on Saturday).

Is your jewelry really sterling? Are the gemstones real?
Yes, and yes! Everything on the site is solid sterling silver, and the gemstones are real. There are a handful of exceptions (maybe a dozen items out of 9000) but they are clearly labeled as such.

Do you ever have sales or promotions?
We've never had a sale in the 9 years we've been in business. Our business goal is offering the best products at the lowest prices we can every day. We do occasionally email discount offers to customers who have signed up for our email list. If you want, you can click here to sign up for the list.

If its real, why are the prices so good?
We don't have employees, we don't advertise, and we don't pay rent. We design our own jewelry and have it custom made for us, so there is no middleman. We also write the software and website and do the photography. Basically we are cheapskates and don't spend money on anything, so our costs are really low.

Matthew, why is your side of the office so messy?
Rebecca tried to show me how the vacuum cleaner works, but when she turned it on the noise scared me and I hid under the couch. I've not yet gotten over my fright.

What is your return policy?
We don't get many returns so we don't really have one - basically, if they are done promptly and packed well they are no problem. We prefer exchanges (round-trip credit card fees are outrageous) but we'd rather have a happy customer than a few extra dollars so refunds are fine too. Just send the package to the address on the contact page with a note inside telling us who you are and how to make you happy and we'll take care of it.

Are you going to do shady stuff with my personal information?
No! Since we do not advertise our business is based on customer referrals, and we will never jeopardize your trust. We will never share or sell your information.

Is your web site secure?
Yes, as secure as we can make it. We use 128-bit SSL and delete all data from the web server several times a day. That said, if anyone claims their web site is bulletproof they are either lying to you or deluding themselves. If IBM, Microsoft, and the US Government can be hacked, anyone can be hacked. We do think our site is very secure- we are really paranoid and have omitted a lot of features (like logins to make paying easier) to make the security tighter.

I love you guys - how do I spread the word?
Tell your friends! Or, if you are feeling ambitious, the best thing you can do is put a link to our home page somewhere- on a blog, in a forum, or your webpage. Even if no one clicks on it, the fact that it exists will make us appear higher in search engine results. Here is code you can cut and paste to make a link:
